Modern and charming
comfort, durable and elegant
Adam started to produce sofas with cooperation of well-known office sofa brand NURUS in 2006. Learning from the decades of sofa manufacturing experience of Nurus, Adam had established his factory in Ankara with 150 workers in 6,000 square meters of production area. The production capacity is about 400 sofas per month. The factory transforms various types of semi-finished components, with different materials and finishes, and completes the many possible combinations. This is achieved through an intentionally flexible set up that adapts to the various design and technological challenges required by the constantly changing market. Now, Adam produces his own sofas under his owned brand name; Sofa in Box.
Sofa in Box products are designed by experienced architects in Adam Design Office in Istanbul. A centre where meetings are held, a steadily evolving creative laboratory, an alchemic site where ideas take shape. This is also achieved through partnerships with world renowned designers. Design team also makes the shop-drawings, supply and apply of projects of hotels, shops and offices for instance, Harvey Nichols. Sofa in Box has been established with a strong industrial and technological calling that, besides breaking away from the set patterns of the sector, leads the company to face continuous challenges to merge creative ideas and design know-how.
Production systems intended to create foam models of all products. Foaming is a process that Adam performs inhouse, and which envisages the use of polyurethane without Freon gas.
